Sergey Petrovich Kapitza
The Sretenskiy Club is named after Sergey Kapitza — Soviet and Russian scientist-physicist, professor, TV presenter, editor-in-chief of the magazine "In the world of science", vice-president of the Russian Academy of Sciences. Since 1973, he has steadily led the popular television program "The Obvious, the Unbelievable".
The opening titles of his TV program began with a quatrain by Alexander Pushkin, written in a beautiful calligraphic handwriting.
